Faces on Comments for (almost) Everyone

We added a section to everyone's Site Profile page yesterday afternoon. After a few weeks of testing on 30+ blogs, we're ready to have everyone put faces (MyBlogLog profile pictures) in their comments. Right now, it's limited TypePad, MoveableType, but Wordpress users, but we'll expand it out as we have demand. For the "expert" reaction to what we're up to, check out what Fred said (ou quoi Loic a dit).

[ed. note: You all are going to have to put up with my mediocre French on occasion. I'll try to remember to use italics to separate it out. Loic has brought so many French people into MyBlogLog that his French blog community has tied Fred's for largest solo-blogger community in the system right now.]

I really want to implement this feature but I use textpattern. Anything I can do short of switching platforms?
