Color Me Widgets

8dvzgc6

Sometimes you want just the perfect hue for your sidebar widget and no matter how much you play around, you just can't seem to get it quite right. You know who you are, copy-paste-publish-refresh, copy-paste-publish-refresh, over and over until you get things just so.

Today, I stumbled across thinlight.org who has glued together the MyBlogLog Recent Reader JavaScript code with mooRainbow color picker to come up with an interactive color picker where you can not only pick from the full spectrum of available colors, you can also see your choices interactively as you fiddle around.

MyBlogLog Widget Colorer, very cool. Check it out.

Thanks for mentioning it :)
Hope there's some feedback from the community.

In fact, for advanced users, it's so easy to hack widget appearance. Just need to add "style" HTML tag after widget's script... See my LifeLine as example ;o)

Oh my blog is wild with colors so I will definitely check this out. And keep my fingers crossed that when I get it it will keep updating.

I am glad to read this post and discover that you guys are updating around here. I am hoping that explains why my widget only works for a while and then reverts back to the same that it read five days ago. But, I love this forum and I am willing to ride out the bumps.
Happy New year,
Jackie

I love love love customizable color schemes on sidebar tools, I don't know why more add on's don't make it possible to do.

It's the coolest stuff for the newest shape for MyBlogLog widget to put on blogs/sites. But, what if I want to change the brown dark color so it could blend and match with my blog color theme? Could anyone kindly advised me how to do it?
Thanks a lot,

I checked the widget colorer and I think it really helps cut down on the time I use to get the color just right. Thanks for sharing.
